After a busy week with three games in six days, the Ducks came out with wins in all three games to improve to 7-2 on the year. Unfortunately, their close call against unranked Boise State last Monday didn't do them any favors in the rankings, with the Ducks falling one spot to No. 24 in the AP Top 25.
Oregon has now dropped 20 spots in the AP Poll since opening the year ranked No. 4 in the second week of the season.
Despite being ranked No. 24, there wasn't much danger of Oregon falling out of the poll. Iowa State is ranked No. 25 with 95 points while Oregon has 175 points. Syracuse is the first team out with 45 points.
UCLA is now the top team in the Pac-12, moving up nine spots from No. 11 to No. 2 after beating No. 1 Kentucky on Saturday, handing the Wildcats their first loss of the season. Villanova is now the new No. 1 team in the nation.
Rounding out the top five is Kansas at No. 3, Baylor at No. 4 and Duke at No. 5. The top five teams have a combined record of 40-2 so far.
