In what is perhaps the quickest turnaround of the day from verbal commit to signing, 3-star defensive tackle Wayne Kirby has officially signed with the Oregon Ducks. Kirby verbally committed to the Ducks at 6:30 AM and has now officially joined the flock at Oregon.

Over the weekend, Oregon hosted Kirby on a last-minute official visit, and that seemed to be enough to land the prospect out of Pocatello, Idaho.
Kirby adds some much-needed size to the defensive line. He stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs in at 306 pounds and as you can see from his highlight film below, his size makes him a force to be reckoned with on the defensive line. Oregon had a lot of trouble last year getting pressure on opposing quarterbacks, and this is a guy who can certainly do that.
