Today marks the conclusion of the 2015 NFL season. Only two teams are left standing. The Denver Broncos are looking for their first Super Bowl win since Super Bowl XXXIII in 1998 while the Panthers will be looking for their first Super Bowl win in team history. The Broncos last appeared in the Super Bowl two years ago, losing to the Seattle Seahawks, while the Panthers last appeared in Super Bowl XXXVIII where they fell to the New England Patriots.
If you have no rooting interest in the game today, I have a silver lining for you. No matter who wins or loses, a former Duck will be getting a Super Bowl ring. The Panthers have two former Ducks on their roster in Ed Dickson and Jonathan Stewart, while the Broncos have T.J. Ward. All three were teammates at Oregon in 2007.
So let's all sit back, relax and enjoy the last day of football until next fall.
