2016 NCAA Tournament: Selection Sunday Open Thread

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Selection Sunday is finally upon us. No more bracket predictions, it's time to unveil the real thing. Michigan State held off Purdue in the Big 10 championship, so that should lock up a top seed for them. Can the Ducks squeeze in, or will they have to settle for the No. 2 seed?

Bracket Matrix, which pools all the biggest projections, has the Ducks edging out Virginia for the final No. 1 seed. According to their projections, Oregon will join Kansas, North Carolina and Michigan State as this year's top seeds in the NCAA tournament, which means that finally, you won't be ruining your bracket by picking Oregon to win the whole damn thing. Yes, the Ducks could very well win a basketball national championship this year.
