Your daily dose of news for all things Oregon

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

  • The day after Oregon got its first ever No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the school matched its highest ranking since 2002 in the last AP Poll before the Tournament starts. The USA Today Coaches Poll has the Ducks at No,4 which is the highest ranking in school history.
  • With its first ever No. 1 seed comes the pressure of being the hunted and also avoiding being the first No. 1 in history to lose to the No. 16 seed. The Ducks need to be ready to go Friday in order to avoid an unfortunate moment in NCAA Tournament history.
  • 2017 No. 1 DT QB and Duck commit Ryan Kelley us living up to his hype so far with arm strength that should have Duck fans excited about the talent he's bringing to Eugene.
  • Dana Altman has led the Ducks to a Pac 12 Championship sweep this season and the school's first ever NCAA Tournament No. 1 seed. But if he leads the school to its first national title since it won the first in 1939, he'll become a bit wealthier.
