Oregon to face either Washington or Stanford in Pac-12 quarterfinal on Thursday

The Ducks have the top seed in this year's tournament.

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks are the top seed in this year's Pac-12 men's basketball tournament after winning their first regular season title since 2002. As a reward for their efforts this year, the Ducks get an extra day of rest before their first matchup in the tournament on Thursday.

The No. 1 seed Oregon Ducks will play their first game of the tournament on Thursday at 12:00 PM PT, facing the winner of Wednesday afternoon's first round matchup between Washington and Stanford. The Ducks split their season series with the Cardinal this year, winning in Eugene but losing on the road. Oregon knocked off Washington in their only matchup of the season.

If Oregon wins their quarterfinal game, they will advance to the semifinals on Friday night at 6:00 PM PT. Their possible opponents for that game include Washington State, Colorado and Arizona. The Ducks are 3-1 this season against those teams, with the only loss coming to Colorado on the road.

The Pac-12 tournament championship will be held on March 12 at 7:00 PM PT. That game will be broadcast on FS1, with all of Oregon's other games being aired on the Pac-12 Network.
