Lee Corso says Eugene is his favorite College GameDay broadcast location

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Lee Corso is like our favorite crazy grandpa who comes to Thanksgiving dinner every year. You can't believe his antics, but you love him to death at the end of the day. Last week, Corso went onto a local sports radio show in Alabama to talk about College GameDay.

Corso said that he couldn't pick one specific broadcast that was his favorite (with nearly 300 live shows to choose from), but he did have a favorite location picked out. Corso said that he enjoyed coming out to Eugene the most out of anywhere the show goes.

"The reason is, the show is on at 6 o’clock in the morning. That means students are up all night long. They’ve got great enthusiasm and the Duck is my favorite. That’s my favorite place, for me personally, to see a ballgame."

College GameDay has been to Eugene a total of nine times between 2000 and 2014, including six visits since 2009. The Ducks are 7-2 when College GameDay comes to town.
