  • For the fifth straight year, the softball team will host an NCAA regional. The Pac-12 champion Ducks (44-8) will play Fordham Friday at 8:30. Long Beach State and Baylor will also take part in the regional.
  • The lawsuits aren't over for the NCAA, as former Duck football player Daniel Cook (71-73) filed suit against both the NCAA and Pac-12. Cook's lawyers are claiming they "actively concealed" the "debilitating long term dangers of concussions" over the years, as the suit covers Oregon football players from 1964 to 2010. Cook suffered between 15-30 concussions.
  • Duck baseball earned a pair of wins Tuesday, blowing out Portland 15-4. Oregon was fueled by an eight run first inning. Earlier, they won 6-1 finishing a suspended game from April 13.
  • The men's and women's track teams get back to action next Thursday at the University of Kansas for the NCAA West Prelims. The meet goes through Saturday and is the last step to the NCAA Outdoor Championships held at Hayward Field. The Ducks have A LOT planned to keep Devon Allen busy there, as they're still running through options of which events (but mainly how many) he'll run.
