After nearly a week and a half of competition at Hayward Field, the 2016 US Olympic Trials for track & field come to a conclusion today.
Last night provided us with one of the most thrilling results of the competition as Oregon sprinter Devon Allen won the 110 meter hurdles in a school-record time of 13.03 seconds, the third-fastest time in the world this year.
The women’s heptathlon has been going on all afternoon with the long jump and javelin throw so far, wrapping up with the women’s 800 meter race at 4:11 pm. Of course, with this being the last day, everything is a final today, including some highly anticipated races like the 1500 and women's 200.
