  • The Olympic Trials for track and field wrapped up yesterday, and 10 athletes with ties to Oregon earned a spot on Team USA. Matthew Centrowitz and Dejah Stevens had especially big performances on the final day of competition.
  • The Ducks landed a big commit at The Opening as Tre McKitty, the nation’s most offered tight end, announced his commitment to Oregon on ESPNU.
  • There is no secret that Devon Allen, who won the 110 meter hurdles at the Olympic Trials, is a talented athlete. But despite going into Rio as a favorite to win an Olympic medal, Allen isn't closing the door on football just yet.
  • Oregon was supposed to be getting the nation’s top miler in Drew Hunter, but the young man who recently broke Alan Webb’s 15-year old record in the indoor mile decided to change his plans, instead turning pro and signing a 10-year contract with Adidas.
