Quack Fix: See Who's Qualified For the Olympics Thus Far

Your daily dose of Oregon news.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

  • Get a look at every Oregon athlete that's qualified for the Olympics as we reach the midway point in the Olympic Trials. Four of the six athletes won their events (Ashton Eaton, Galen Rupp, English Gardner, and Cyrus Hostetler). Yesterday was an off day and only the hammer throw will be contested today. Greg Skipper will be competing in the men's event.
  • Preview the quarterback position battle, starring Dakota Prukop and Travis Jonsen. The FCS transfer and the highly-touted redshirt freshman have been duking it out for quite some time. Prukop has far more game experience but offers only a year of eligibility. Senior Jeff Lockie rounds out the list behind them, and ironically enough is the only one with Pac-12 experience. Lockie started three games in 2015.
  • In more somber news, former Oregon wrestling coach Ron Finley passed away early yesterday at the age of 75. Finley had been battling cancer. An Olympic wrestler in 1964, he coached the Ducks for 28 years and was inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1982.
