It’s only August, so 90 percent of these predictions won't pan out, but it’s never too early for the experts to project how the 2016 college football season will turn out.
Jerry Palm of CBS Sports unveiled his bowl projections for this season, putting Oklahoma, Clemson, Alabama and Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff.
As for Oregon? Palm has the Ducks heading to San Diego to face Penn State on December 27th in the Holiday Bowl The last time Oregon played in the Holiday Bowl was in 2008 when they defeated Oklahoma State 42-31, laying the foundation for the dominant teams of the Chip Kelly era.
According to Palm, the best Pac-12 team this season will be Stanford, who will earn a trip to the Rose Bowl to face Ohio State.
