Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
  • It's another full day of track and field today, and there are no shortage of Oregon athletes competing. Deajah Stevens will be competing in the women's 200 final tonight at 6:30 p.m. as she looks to be the first UO sprinter to claim a medal in Rio. Devon Allen, Phyllis Francis, and English Gardner all made finals but finished out of medal position. Gardner still has the 4x100 relay.
  • Ashton Eaton and fellow decathletes have already competed in the 100, shotput and long jump, which will be broadcast at 1:45 (high jump) and later on the 400 will take place at 5:20.
  • Cyrus Hostetler and Sam Crouser will both be competing in the javelin today. The athletes are split into Group A and Group B. Hostetler's group will be throwing at 4:30 p.m. while Crouser's Group B will be at 5:55 p.m.
