At what was virtually the 11th hour, 3-star junior college defensive tackle Ratu Mafileo had a last second change of heart for where he wanted to play football this fall.
Today, Mafileo flipped his commitment from Texas A&M to Oregon just after 2:00 PM PT on Twitter.

Mafileo is a 6-foot-3, 300 pound defensive tackle from the College of San Mateo and is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to Oregon and Texas A&M, Mafileo also had offers from Louisville, Ole Miss, Alabama and USC. Mafileo is the No. 94 junior college prospect in the nation for the class of 2016. He is eligible to suit up for the Ducks right away this fall.
Of course, Oregon is transitioning to a 4-3 defensive scheme this year under new defensive coordinator Brady Hoke, so it doesn't hurt to have some added depth, especially if it is a guy with Mafileo’s size.
