- The Associated Press recently released all-time rankings for the top 100 college football programs. Oregon ranked 28th in the rankings, which used 80 years worth of polls. The scoring system gave one point for an appearance in the polls, two points for a number one ranking, and 10 points for a national championship. The Ducks totaled 293 points.
- The Ducks basketball team is close to securing another top prospect. The 39th-ranked player in the 2017 class, Daejon Davis, included Oregon in his top five list. Davis opened up his recruiting again after de-committing from Washington.
