- Darren Carrington spoke with the media yesterday, and had nothing but high praise for his Duck teammates. Dakota Prukop won him over and he has the complete confidence of the offense, but Carrington is also sold on his backups. Of his own wideout corps, the junior said "we're going to shock a lot of people."
- Brady Hoke was less than pleased with his defense's most recent showing in their final scrimmage of the preseason. Hoke was quoted saying "We've got a long way to go" in regards to his defense being stout.
- Nick Aliotti talked about how Oregon coaches attempted to reel in Colt Lyerla, realizing he was going down a dangerous path. Lyerla was recently arrested for heroin possession.
