When the Oregon Ducks take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers next weekend for their first road game of 2016, the entire country will be watching, plus the 87,000 strong on hand at Memorial Stadium. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 12:30 PM PT and will be televised nationally on ABC.
According to Odds Shark, the Ducks will begin the game week as three point underdogs against Nebraska. However, their computer odds have the Ducks coming out on top. When the line is that close, it’s really more of a tossup. Play this game 10 times and each team will win five times.
As Tom Shatel writes, this could be a great game for the Huskers, but that depends on which Nebraska team shows up. The same could be said for Oregon. They’ve looked vulnerable at times in their first two games of the season, and a win on the road in a tough environment could be exactly what Mark Helfrich needs to silence his many critics.
No matter what happens, this should be a thrilling Saturday afternoon for both fan bases.
