Former Oregon and current Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount is a physical player who shows no mercy to his opponents. While he is known for often plowing his way through defenders, Blount took a more vertical approach today.
In the 4th quarter of New England’s game against the Miami Dolphins, Blount ran the ball to the outside edge. When he saw Miami’s Byron Maxwell standing in his way, Blount decided he would literally jump clear over Maxwell in order to keep on running.
.@LG_Blount is hurdling humans AGAIN!

Just another day at the office. #MIAvsNE https://t.co/nf8wTEjhqL
It’s already impressive that a person can literally hurdle another human being. It’s even more impressive when you look at the size of the two players. Blount is 6-foot, 250 pounds while Maxwell is 6’1, 205 pounds.
Blount would go on to rush for 129 yards on 29 carries with one touchdown as the Patriots won 31-24 over the Dolphins to improve to 2-0 on the season.
