The countdown to NSD is on and The Duck Hunt will be here to provide some information on players as they sign their LOI’s and officially become Ducks. Let the hunt begin!

Scott is the 6’1” 350lb anchor that our defensive line has missed in recent years. There has clearly been a priority of adding bulk along the defensive front with this class and this young athlete has the potential to develop into a serious force to be reckoned with. Scott hails from Largo, Florida where he was first team all-state 7A and held offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida State and Florida. During his senior year he recorded 88 tackles, 10 sacks and 29 tackles for loss. Watching the highlights, one can’t help but be impressed by his presence on the line. Scott is a bulldozer that can hit like a ton of bricks. He has joined fellow Defensive Tackle Rutger Reitmaier in early enrollment.
Rutger Reitmaier – 4* DT:

At 6’3” 274lbs, the number one Defensive Tackle out of the state of Tennessee who played for the East in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be another solid addition along our D-Line. Reitmaier committed during Helf’s admin and stayed consistent with his commitment through the turnover and despite receiving offers from Ohio State and Michigan. He will be joining Ugo Amadi and Dillon Mitchell as the third recruit from Tennessee to join the Ducks in the past three years. In his highlight video, you can see that he has an impressive burst at the snap, gets off blocks well and has occupies a lot of space by eating up multiple blockers. Reitmaier also joined fellow Defensive Tackle Jordon Scott in early enrollment.
Both players have signed their financial aid agreements and will be on campus ahead of most of the 2017 class, giving themselves additional time with teammates and their new playbook. Go Ducks!
