Coach Willie Taggart and the Oregon Ducks picked up a commitment tonight from Cyrus Habibi-Likio out of Mountain View, California. Considered a strong Ducks lean of late, Habibi-Likio is listed as a 4-star running back on Scout, and 3-star running back on Rivals, and a high 3-star Athlete on 247 sports. Habibi-Likio is projected to play linebacker at Oregon, and the coaches reportedly told him they eventually see him in a Sua Craven style hybrid safety/linebacker role for the Ducks.
Habibi-Likio held offers from half the Pac-12 as well as BYU, Boise State, and others. This commitment brings Oregon's 2017 class to 17, and moves them up to 26th in the 247 composite class rankings. The Ducks may add as many as 11 more commitments before all is said and done.
