At A Glance

  • No. 10 Oregon Ducks (19-2, 8-0 Pac-12) — Oregon most recently topped Utah on the road Thursday, 73-67. With the win, the Ducks extended their all-time winning streak to 17 games and started conference play 8-0 for the first time since 1926… UO is 19-2 for the third time in program history, posting the same record in 1926-27 and 2006-07… The Ducks have been slicing through opponents, owning the seventh largest scoring margin in the country at 16.7, having beaten their Pac-12 opponents by an average of 19.3 points… UO’s success has been a team effort, as five Ducks are averaging double-digit scoring — Dillon Brooks (13.7ppg), Chris Boucher (13.0), Tyler Dorsey (12.3), Dylan Ennis (11.6) and Jordan Bell (11.2). None of them are in the Pac-12’s top 20 in scoring, a testament to the team’s depth… Defensively, UO leads the nation with 159 blocks, thanks to big men Boucher (56, 11th nationally) and Bell (45, 29th nationally).
  • Colorado Buffaloes (11-10, 1-7 Pac-12) — The Buffs picked up their first win in conference play, beating Oregon State at home Thursday, 85-78. George King (24p) and Bryce Peters (15p) led the offensive effort, as Colorado shot 50 percent from the floor and 55 percent from distance… Derrick White leads three Buffaloes in double-digit scoring with 16.0 points per game, good for eighth in the conference. The senior guard has been productive across the board, averaging 3.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists to go along with 27 blocks and 22 steals on the season. Xavier Johnson (15.2ppg) and King (11.9ppg) are second and third on the team in scoring, while Wesley Gordon (7.4ppg, 7.6rpg, 34blk) is first in boards and blocks… After finishing the 2015-16 season with a 22-12 overall mark, including a trip to the Big Dance, Colorado was picked to finish fifth in the Pac-12 preseason poll. The Buffs currently sit 11th of 12 teams, ahead of the Beavers.

"Hopefully offensively we can play with confidence and move the ball Saturday against Oregon,” Colorado coach Tad Boyle said. “Oregon has a deeper bench than Oregon State does, and Oregon is just a different animal when it comes to depth. Offensively we have to keep that going, and we have to figure out how to guard. If we play defense like we did tonight against Oregon, they'll score 120 on us."

All-Time Series

  • The Ducks are 6-9 against the Buffaloes all-time, dating back to their first meeting in 1955-56. Oregon has taken three of the past four meetings after splitting last season, 1-1, with each team defending its home court.
