The Ducks are on fire right now, in large part thanks to the recent play of Dillon Brooks. Last week, Oregon defeated No. 2 UCLA and No. 22 USC at home, and Brooks played huge roles in both of those wins.

Against the previously unbeaten Bruins, Brooks scored 23 points with nine rebounds, four assists and two steals. Of course, Brooks sank a game-winning shot with 0.8 seconds left to lift the Ducks over UCLA, keeping Oregon’s home winning streak, now at 35 games, alive.

Brooks followed up his big night against UCLA with an even better showing against USC, scoring 28 points on 9-of-10 shooting, including a perfect 4-of-4 from beyond the arc and 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

Thanks to Brooks’ efforts, the Ducks climbed six spots in the latest AP Top 25, moving up to No. 15 this week. They’ll leave Oregon for the first time since the Maui Invitational in late November this week when they travel north to play Washington on Wednesday night and Washington State on Saturday afternoon.
