Here is the transcript for Willie Taggart’s weekly press conference. Questions include recaps of Wazzu and where the team struggled, looking forward to Stanford, and the learning curve of Braxton Burmeister.

Speaking of Burmeister, above, coach Taggart is unwilling to commit to who the starting quarterback will be for the Stanford game this weekend.

Advanced stats are updated here: Oregon only fell from 20-22 in S&P, the defensive rating improved, which makes sense, and the offensive rating got worse, which also makes sense.

FishDuck is angry about the Wazzu game. Well, to be technical, they’re still angry about the Cal game and running the QB that resulted in a broken collar bone. FishDuck is also really happy with Jim Leavitt and encouraged by multiple parts of the team.
