Stanford jumped out to a huge run at the start of the game to go up 14-0. Bryce Love rushed for over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first five minutes of the game, causing Twitter to go into a flurry.

Oregon responded with a long drive capped with a Braxton Burmeister touchdown run. Royce Freeman has had a couple explosive plays. At the half he has 121 yards and is averaging 10.1 yards per carry.

Braxton Burmeister has completed one pass on four attempts for 8 yards and 2 interceptions. The coaches have taken as much pressure off of him as possible, leaning much more on motion and misdirection in their power running attack and have only thrown when it is necessary.

Stanford followed Oregon’s touchdown with a drive capped by a Keller Chryst Pass to wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside into the corner of the end zone. JJ Arcega-Whiteside has had a few really good catches on well thrown balls. On some of the plays it would be tough to find a defensive back who could have made a play on the good pass, good route, and good catch. Stanford finished their scoring in the first half via a punt block, pushing the lead to 14.

The Ducks will receive the second half kickoff so we’ll see the second-half adjustments the coaches are going to make on offense first. The coaches have done a good job of making adjustments, especially on defense.

This is only a three possession game and it is very dark right now on the west coast. #Pac12AfterDark has been in full effect all weekend and let’s hope there’s just enough left for this late into Saturday night.

The second half starts now.
