Today, Oregon football announced the kickoff time for their matchup against Stanford on October 14, and you better be sure to get in your afternoon nap.
Our game at Stanford on Oct. 14 will start at 8 PM on FS1. #GoDucks

That’s right, 8:00 PM PT. Meaning the game won't end until around midnight on the West Coast, or around 3:00 AM on the East Coast.
Last year, Oregon had just two conference games that started at or after 5:00 PM PT. This year, Oregon has or will kick off Pac-12 games at 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 5:00 PM PT, and now, 8:00 PM PT.
In previous years, the Pac-12 had made efforts to reduce the number of night games in the interests of the athletes and fans, but this year, Oregon has yet to experience that luxury in conference play.
I looked back at the history of Oregon’s football schedule on GoDucks.com to see if I could find the last time the Ducks kicked off a game at 8:00 PM, and the latest kickoff time I could find dating back to 2000 was 7:30 PM, a common kickoff time for the conference in recent years.
So get in your naps, stock up on Red Bull, do what you need to do, because it’s about to get real weird on The Farm in the latest edition of #Pac12AfterDark we’ve ever seen.
