Women’s Basketball defeated #18 Texas A&M last night in the semifinals of the preseason WNIT tournament with a dominant second half and a final score of 83-68. Hebard didn’t miss a shot and Ionescu recorded her sixth career triple double, tying the all time Pac 12 mark.

Oregon volleyball is looking to regain momentum, and RPI standing, after a visit to the Arizona schools and an unexpected loss, hit their RPI standings hard. The Ducks fell from 9th to 22nd after the most recent trip.

Justin Herbert and Calvin Throckmorton are both in the running for academic All-American awards this year. Herbert has a 4.08 GPA in biology and Throckmorton a 3.76 in human physiology.

The Register Guard has a profile on Oregon cross country runner Katie Rainsberger. Katie earned four All American awards, including a 4th place finish at last years NCAA cross country championships, last year as a freshman.
