Beginning at 12:00 p.m. PT on Wednesday, I’ll be publishing articles at ATQ and live tweeting @TheQuackFiend for 24 consecutive hours. I’ll be answering your questions, replying to comments and preparing fans for 2017-18 Oregon basketball.

ESPN discontinued their 24-hour college basketball marathon this season, but SB Nation’s very own Addicted To Quack is prepared to pick up where they left off. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Your comments are always welcome.

On Wednesday at noon PT the marathon will commence, lasting 24 hours until Thursday at noon PT. It will conclude just in time for the college basketball season to begin on Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. PT with Spring Harbor vs Eastern Michigan.

Don’t forget, the No. 1 prospect from the 2018 class R.J. Barrett is set to make his college announcement on Friday. We’ll take an extended look at Oregon’s current recruiting efforts while answering your questions and concerns about the future.

Assistant coach Tony Stubblefield and head coach Dana Altman are building chemistry with the Oregon team this season. It may be a new dynamic, but the Ducks have veteran leadership in the form of three transfers and returning starter Payton Pritchard.

Over the course of the marathon, we will look back at the last 365 days that were for Oregon basketball. Additionally, we will take a look at the Pac-12 Conference as a whole. @TheQuackFiend welcomes questions about any Pac-12 team, as well.

I’ll be taking a look at every coach in the conference, some changes to the college basketball landscape, the 2016-17 Oregon team, alongside an inside look at the upcoming campaign, plus much more.

Here are some of the players that will be covered and discussed: Victor Bailey Jr., R.J. Barrett, Jordan Bell, Casey Benson, Kavell Bigby-Williams, Bol Bol, Chris Boucher, Aaron Brooks, Dillon Brooks, Elijah Brown, Troy Brown, Elgin Cook, Tyler Dorsey, Dylan Ennis, Evan Gross, Will Johnson, Abu Kigab, MiKyle McIntosh, Payton Pritchard, Keith Smith, Roman Sorkin, Paul White, Emmitt Williams, Kenny Wooten and Joe Young.

On top of that, I’ll have an extensive breakdown of the PK80 in Portland. It will be the greatest collection of talent during a regular season college basketball tournament in history and it’s approaching quickly.

You can direct message me or tweet @TheQuackFiend throughout the 24-hour marathon and into the season. You can also hashtag #ATQMarathon #QuackMarathon and/or #24HourQuackBinge with questions and comments.

Starting at noon PT, the next 24 hours will be jam-packed with Oregon basketball prep, predictions, previews, interviews, player breakdowns and a few history lessons.

Ready or not? Oregon basketball is set to return soon. The regular season gets underway at Matthew Knight Arena on Friday against Coppin State. You can catch opening night on the Pac-12 Network at 9:00 p.m. local time.
