The Oregon Ducks (7-3) take on the Portland State Vikings (8-2) at Matthew Knight Arena. Tipoff begins at 7:00 p.m., with a telecast on the Pac-12 Networks.
Here is a link to the game preview.
Oregon is coming off a close win against Texas Southern. Dry spells from shooting gave the Tigers an opportunity to earn their first win of the season, but a late push by the Ducks ensured victory.
Kenny Wooten's effort to begin the second half proved pivotal to help the Ducks hold off the Tigers' rally.
The Ducks cannot afford a repeat performance against the Vikings with the resiliency displayed by the team the past few games.
Mikyle McIntosh reached 1,000 career points last game. The Oregon senior forward is a graduate transfer after playing his first three seasons with Illinois State. Coach Dana Altman has been successful in the graduate transfer area and will expect McIntosh to be a veteran presence amongst the young players on Oregon.
The game thread is now open. Please be respectful.
Go Ducks!
