Oregon coaches stand by Royce and his decision to not play the Las Vegas Bowl, and the remaining running backs feel ready and excited to take advantage of the opportunity they’re given to shine.

On the eve of the Las Vegas Bowl, Oregonlive revisits the last Oregon v Boise State game, the punch, and the animosity that surrounded it and still exists to some extent (mostly with the fans).

Justin Herbert earned first team Academic All American for his 4.08 GPA in biology. Herbert is the third Duck quarterback to win the award following honors for Joey Harrington and, of course, Bill Musgrave.
