After a one-year hiatus, the Oregon Ducks are back in a bowl game. Today, they'll face the Boise State Broncos in the Las Vegas Bowl.

The big storyline for Oregon is the absence of Royce Freeman, which of course means his college career has come to an end. Freeman is the latest draft pick to skip out on his team’s bowl game ahead of next spring’s NFL draft. There’s a lot of controversy around players doing this, but I personally think he’s done more than enough to help the Ducks, and now needs to look out for himself.

Despite Freeman’s absence, the Ducks are still favored by a touchdown. They look like a completely different team with Justin Herbert leading the way.
