After tired legs seemingly got the best of Oregon against UCLA on Thursday, the fifth-ranked Ducks look to get back in the win column when they face USC on Saturday, Feb. 11. Tipoff from the Galen Center is set for 7:30 p.m. PT, viewable to the Pac-12 Networks.

  • No. 5 Oregon Ducks (21-4, 10-2 Pac-12) — The Ducks are enduring one of the toughest portions of their regular-season schedule, facing their third straight 20-win opponent (USC). Leading up to their bout with the Trojans, the Ducks embarrassed No. 5 Arizona at home last week, 85-58, before most recently blowing a 19-point lead in an 82-79 loss at No. 10 UCLA… The Ducks’ 21-4 overall record is tied for the second best in program history. Only the 1926-27 squad has posted a better mark at 24-1. The Ducks’ 10-2 conference record is the best since the 1938-39 NCAA Championship team started 11-1 in the Pacific Coast Conference… Five UO players are averaging double-digit scoring — Dillon Brooks (14.6ppg), Chris Boucher (12.8), Tyler Dorsey (12.2), Dylan Ennis (10.9) and Jordan Bell (10.8)… Defensively, UO leads the country with 177 blocks, thanks to big men Boucher (63, 14th nationally) and Bell (53, 29th nationally).
  • USC Trojans (21-4, 8-4 Pac-12) — The Trojans picked up their fifth win in a row, stomping Oregon State at home Thursday, 92-66, behind Shaqquan Arron’s 21 points on 10 shots. The last time USC won five straight games in regular-season conference play was 2002… USC opened the 2016-17 season 14-0, which is tied for the fourth-longest winning streak in program history and is the best start since 1971. The Ducks handed the Trojans their first loss of the season back in December. Having gone 7-3 since then, Trojans are 21-4 for the first time since 1992… Helping the Trojans notch such historic numbers have been Chimenzie Metu (14.2ppg, 7.5rpg), Elijah Steward (13.7ppg, 4.8rpg) and Jordan McLaughlin (13.2ppg, 5.1apg). Boatwright (13.3ppg, 4.1rpg) has also been posting solid numbers since his return from a sprained knee.

  • The Ducks are 55-62 against the Trojans all-time, dating back to their first meeting in 1955-56. UO has taken the past 13 games, most recently blowing out USC at Matthew Knight Arena earlier this season, 84-61. In that game, the Ducks led 38-29 at the break before opening the second half on a 21-3 run. They eventually led by as many as 31, 70-39, on the way to giving head coach Dana Altman his 700th career win.
