AP Top 25: Oregon moves up to No. 6 behind Arizona, UCLA

NCAA Basketball: Colorado at Oregon Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

After beating Utah and Colorado last week in Eugene to improve to 24-4 overall on the year, the Oregon Ducks moved up one spot in this week’s AP Top 25 to No. 6 overall.

The Ducks fall in line behind No. 4 Arizona and No. 5 UCLA, both who moved up one spot from last week as well. The Ducks remain one game behind the Wildcats in the Pac-12 standings with three games left to go.

The top three teams in the nation remain unchanged with Gonzaga at No. 1, Villanova at No. 2 and Kansas at No. 3 overall. Louisville, North Carolina, Baylor and Duke round out the top 10 in the nation.

There is still a lot of basketball left to be played, but unless the teams in front of the Ducks start losing, Oregon will probably need to win out to become a No. 1 seed again in this year’s NCAA tournament.
