Oregon beat Temple 71-70 on Saturday on Ruthy Hebard’s last second heroics, first making a shot on one end of the court and then blocking one on the other end. The freshman finished with 23 points and 7 rebounds, and was aided by Sabrina Ionescu (16 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists,) and Mallory McGwire (13 points, 10 rebounds.) Duke destroyed Hampton 94-31 in its first round game. The Blue Devils were led by Rebecca Greenwell (26 points and 10 rebounds,) and Leaonna Odom (23 points.)
