A men’s champion will be crowned tonight at Hayward Field.

Tonight, a national champion will be crowned on the men's side. All of the races below are finals. The day kicks off with the women’s heptathlon at 12:30, but the Ducks don't have any ladies in the competition, so the first Duck of the day we’ll see will be Ryan Hunter-Simms in the men’s discus throw finals at 5:05 PM. Unfortunately, the Ducks don't stand a chance at winning the national title this year. They currently sit in 27th place with 3.5 points. The Ducks are projected to barely crack the top 20. But don't worry, there will be plenty more action on Saturday as the women are the favorites to win it all.
