The Oregon men unfortunately won't be contending for a title today, and the day’s first event wasn't a strong start for the Ducks.
The Oregon men’s 4x100 team finished in sixth place in the final in a time of 38.81 seconds, earning three points for the day.
The story of the race was the Houston Cougars, who won the race in 38.34 seconds, smashing records along the way.

Apparently Carl Lewis coaches that team, so it’s not hard to see why they smashed the record.
On the homestretch, it was also pretty painful to see a runner in an Auburn jersey sprint away from a Duck. That image will always sting. #DyerWasDown
