Darren Carrington has since posted the following image and caption on Instagram:
Upon first seeing the tweet I remember Taggart saying in an interview, “Try me.” Oregon’s receiver corps already was already a question mark heading into the season and if Carrington is going to miss an extended period of time then some of the younger players are going to have to step up and try to fill the void. Taggart is now confronted with his first major disciplinary issue with a player.
According to Greif, Carrington is scheduled to appear in Eugene Municipal Court on Thursday, July 6th. We’ll have to wait out the legal proceedings for all the facts to come out and then how Taggart will respond to the results.
