Oregon Football: 2018 Recruiting Class Enters Top 5 Nationally

This could be the best recruiting class in Oregon history

NCAA Football: Eastern Washington at Oregon Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

Oregon football currently entered the national Top 5 for their 2018 recruiting class. Not only do the Ducks possess the best ‘18 recruiting class in the Pac-12, but it could be the greatest group in program history. By the end of the recruiting cycle, Willie Taggart could be the head coach of the No. 1 class in the country.

Prospects and parents/guardians alike feel a certain comfort level with the Oregon football regime. And it’s beginning to show up with the future commitments.

Oregon snagged eight prospects by the 2017 Spring Game. Entering July, the Ducks have nearly doubled that with 15 total commits for 2018 and even a few for 2019. UO still has 10 scholarships available for 2018, but spots are closing fast.

Whether he is playing or coaching, Willie Taggart is used to winning. Currently, Taggart and his coaching staff have been winning over the nation’s top college football talent. His 2018 recruiting class is making some noise across college football.
