We’ve already seen Willie Taggart make his impact on the recruiting trails, and we could soon see another big splash.

Earlier this week on Twitter, 4-star cornerback Jalen Green revealed his top-5 list of schools, and Oregon was among the finalists.

Other schools in Green’s top-5 include Texas, LSU, Penn State and Ohio State. These are the ones left standing from an extensive list that included big programs like Michigan, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, USC, Clemson and Alabama.

Green stands at 6-foot-1 and 171 pounds, and is ranked as the nation’s No. 5 cornerback.

It might be tough to pry Green out west. Currently, 247Sports is predicting that Green, the Houston, Texas native, will stay in his home state and suit up for the Longhorns.

Oregon’s defense needs some serious help, and Green would certainly be able to make an immediate impact if he were to decide to play for the Ducks.
