Willie Taggart is already busy looking for the future stars of Oregon football. On Friday, he sent offers to three of Alabama’s top high school prospects in the class of 2019 and 2020, all from Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama.
One was to 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson, a 6-4, 210 pound pro style quarterback. Tyson has seven offers, including from Mississippi State, NC State and Notre Dame. The Ducks could have an advantage here, because Tyson knows Oregon offensive coordinator Mario Cristobal from when he was at Alabama, and Cristobal has a good relationship with Tyson’s coaches.
Another is 2020 wide receiver Dazalin Worsham, who stands at 6-1, 170 pounds, and already has 12 offers, including from Auburn, Florida and NC State.
And finally, an offer was also sent to 2020 athlete Malachi Moore, who stands at 6-0, 170 pounds. Moore now holds three offers from Oregon, Samford and UAB. Moore can play both sides of the ball at wide receiver and cornerback.
