The Oregon women’s basketball team is coming off a historic season in which they made an improbable run to the Elite Eight. Now, they're going to face quite the test to kick off the 2017-18 season.
After an exhibition against Westmont on November 5, the Ducks will face Cal State Northridge in the preseason WNIT. Potential opponents include Louisville, Michigan and Texas A&M.
On November 25, the Ducks will face Oklahoma in the PK80 Invitational, which also features UConn and Michigan State.
On December 13, Oregon takes on Mississippi State, last year’s national runner up, on the road in Starkville.
On December 20 and 22, the Ducks will take part in the UNLV Tournament in Las Vegas, with potential opponents including Syracuse, Texas A&M, Hawaii and UNLV.
Oregon has a chance to go even deeper in this year’s tournament as they are bringing back their top seven scorers from last year.
