Mark Helfrich is reportedly trading in one headset for another. On Tuesday morning, The Big Lead, citing anonymous sources, reported that the former Oregon football head coach will join Fox Sports as a college football analyst for the 2017 season.

According to the report, Helfrich will be working up in the booth as a color commentator for college football games on Fox Sports this season.

The Ducks will appear on Fox Sports at least once this season when they take on Nebraska on September 9 in Eugene. Last year, their 70-21 loss to Washington was aired on Fox Sports.

The move isn't much of a surprise, as last week Fox Sports announcer Tim Brando posted this tweet of a Fox Sports golf outing, featuring Helfrich.

Helfrich was supposed to appear on ESPN as part of their College Football Playoff national championship coverage, but that didn't happen, so it seems as if we’ll finally get a chance to see what Helfrich can bring to a college football telecast.
