Greif offers his 10 takeaways from this weekends loss, the first of the Willie Taggart era. There were definitely positives to take away from the loss, including a monster performance from Jelks, but hopefully the team learns from the negatives.

Volleyball lost this weekend at #11 UCLA. The loss ended a 7 game winning streak and drops the team to 1-1 in conference play. Each of the next two opponents for volleyball are top 25 ranked.

Women’s soccer, not wanting to break the trend, fell to Arizona 3-1 over the weekend. The loss came in the pac-12 opener and dropped the Ducks to 6-3 on the season.

Men’s golf is in fifth overall after the first round of the Trinity Forest Invitational. The ducks are 8 shots behind leader Florida.

Football got back to work on Sunday following the Saturday loss. All accounts are that the team responded well to the first setback of the Taggart tenure.
