Women’s cross country won the conference title this weekend with an upset over number one national ranked Colorado. The women put four runners in the top ten individually lead by Jessica Hull in second place. The men finished fourth overall in the same meet.

Fifth year senior Paul White has already graduated and could have left as a graduate transfer but elected to stay and provide leadership to the Duck basketball team this year. White is one of two returning starters from last year and Kenny Wooten says he’s the teams most improved player.

The starting quarterback for each team in this weeks game against UCLA is in question. Duck starter Justin Herbert is in concussion protocol and both of the QBs for Chip Kelly’s Bruins are apparently and there’s a chance the entire team gets the bubonic plague anyway so we’re not making predictions.

Volleyball’s Brooke Nuneviller has been named the conference freshman of the week for the third time this season. Nuneviller is one of the top defensive players in the conference as a Freshman.
