Western Oregon @ Oregon (10 PM ET, PAC-12 Network) on Thursday, November 1st
Although this game doesn’t count towards Oregon’s record, this will be our first chance to see the team in action. Western Oregon is a Division II school and is apart of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. The Wolves were picked third in the GNAC preseason poll.
Player to Watch For:
Riley Hawken, Redshirt Sophomore
Hawken, a 6’6 forward, was picked to the GNAC preseason team as one of the top-15 players in the conference. Hawken is the only returning starter from the Western Oregon’s GNAC championship team from last season that finished 31-2. The forward from Vancouver, Washington averaged 8.2 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 1.6 APG.
If you remember in the beginning of the 2016-2017 season, Oregon beat Western Oregon with a score of 93-54.
92-52, Ducks over Wolves
Not much to talk about as this is an exhibition game against a DII school. Should be an easy W for Oregon. Happy Halloween, Duck Nation!
