Steve Mims writes that Bol Bol is off to a strong start through the first two games of the year. Bol is ranked top 25 nationally in both blocked shots and rebounds, averaging 12 and 3.5 per game this year. Bol also leads the Ducks in scoring at 17.5 per game.

The Ducks are battered and limping a little bit heading into their final home game against ASU. There were more key injuries suffered this week in the loss again the OL, and at running back.

Women’s basketball has three players on the list for the Naismith player of the year award, Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard, and Satou Sabally. The initial list includes fifth players, the ducks are one of 4 teams with three or more players on the initial list.
