Last week, the ATQ community was 45% right in the pick ems and 77% right against the spread. And a single person predicted the Beavers win! Let’s give it another go, shall we?

COLORADO @ ARIZONA

Arizona v Colorado Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images

TIME/CHANNEL: (Friday) 7:30 PM, FS1

RECORDS: Colorado (5-3, 2-3) / Arizona (4-5, 3-3)

LAST WEEK: Both of these teams battled an Oregon school but with drastically different results. The Wildcats took the Ducks by surprise in their 44-15 beatdown. The return of Khalil Tate did wonders for Arizona’s offense, but JJ Taylor and his 212 rushing yards stole the show. Colorado, on the other hand, lost in overtime to the Beavers.

Will the Wildcats fail to rekindle their offensive success? Or will the Buffs continue their downward spiral?

UTAH @ ARIZONA STATE

TIME/CHANNEL: 1 PM, PAC-12 NETWORK

RECORDS: # 15 Utah (6-2, 4-2) / Arizona State (4-4, 2-3)

LAST WEEK: Another great PAC-12 South matchup! Both of these teams have some momentum coming into this game, the Sun Devils having just taken down the Trojans and the Utes looking like the most complete team in the conference, and both have a lot on the line. As of right now, Utah has a clear path to its first ever PAC-12 championship game while ASU could drastically increase their chances of leapfrogging the Utes with a win.

Can Utah continue its dominance of the south? Can Herm Edwards make it to a bowl game in his first season at ASU?

UCLA @ OREGON

NCAA Football: Oregon at UCLA Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

TIME/CHANNEL: 4:30 PM, FOX

RECORDS: UCLA (2-6, 2-3) / Oregon (5-3, 2-3)

LAST WEEK: The much awaited return of Chip Kelly to Autzen has lost a little bit of its appeal after both Oregon and UCLA got their butts kicked in their respective games. Still, there should be plenty of intriguing moments during what could be a very competitive game. Despite their 41-10 loss to Utah, UCLA has looked better and better each week, though their defense will remain a glaring weakness. Meanwhile, Oregon’s offense has looked like a different and inferior unit with the loss of Penei Sewell, and Duck fans should go in with low expectations if Herbert doesn’t play.

Will Chip Kelly spurn the fans who once loved him? Or will Cristobal bring back the energy and efficiency we saw against Stanford and Washington?

STANFORD @ WASHINGTON

NCAA Football: Washington at Stanford John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

TIME/CHANNEL: 6 PM, PAC-12 NETWORK

RECORDS: Stanford (5-3, 3-2) / Washington (6-3, 4-2)

LAST WEEK: Few would have guessed that the two preseason PAC-12 favorites would enter this game with three losses apiece. Stanford’s loss to conference front runner Washington State feels much more acceptable than Washington’s loss to California. David Shaw seemed to finally accept the fact that he should throw the ball more often than running an injured Bryce Love, though that may play right in to Washington’s strength- their secondary.

Will Stanford be able to score regularly through their boxing out passing attack? Or will Washington’s defense drag their offense to a win?

USC @ OREGON STATE

NCAA Football: Oregon State at Southern California Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

TIME/CHANNEL: 7 PM, FS1

RECORDS: USC (4-4, 3-3) / Oregon State (2-6, 1-4)

LAST WEEK: Utah quickly put a stop to the narrative of USC falling backwards into yet another PAC-12 title game... for now. And in the North, Oregon State had a furious second half comeback to beat Colorado in overtime. JT Daniels is expected to play this Saturday and should make short work of the Beavers’ porous defense, but maybe Jake Luton can turn this into a shootout with Reser Stadium on his side.

Will the Trojans win another half-hearted victory over a less talented opponent? Or will the Beavers earn another plucky underdog win?

CALIFORNIA @ WASHINGTON STATE

NCAA Football: Washington State at California Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

TIME/CHANNEL: 7:45 PM, ESPN

RECORDS: California (5-3, 2-3) / Washington State (7-1, 4-1)

LAST WEEK: For what it’s worth, California over Washington State is this managing editor’s pick of the week- which means you should bet on the Cougs winning by 40. Both of these teams and their coaches have an opportunity to bolster their programs following massive wins- Cal over Washington and Wazzu over Stanford. The Golden Bears can make a bowl game for the first time in the Wilcox era while the Cougars are still dark horse candidates for the college football playoff.

Will the Golden Bears earn their sixth win of the season in the hellish home of the Cougs? Or will Gardner Minshew find success against Cal’s vaunted secondary?
