Sampson Niu is ready to take over at starting linebacker for the injured Kaulana Apelu. Apelu broke his leg against UCLA and the senior has moved into a teaching and mentor role for the former backup linebacker that will now be starting.

Men’s basketball is getting ready to host Eastern Washington tomorrow night for their second game of the season. Dana Altman is one win away from tying Howard Hobson for second on the all time wins list at Oregon.

Oregon freshman soccer player Zoe Hasenauer was named to the Pac 12 all freshman team. Hasenauer lead the Oregon soccer team in both assists and shots on goal for the year, she’s the first Oregon player to make the all freshman team since current senior Marissa Everett.
