The Oregon Women’s Basketball team (10-1) earned their tenth win of the season against the Air Force Falcons (4-7).
But perhaps the bigger story is that Oregon’s Sabrina Ionescu earned her 13th career triple-double, which means she know owns the record for most triple-doubles in NCAA history for men and women’s basketball.
Ionescu scored 17 points, 11 rebound, and 13 assists in front of a crowd of roughly 8,000 fans. This is obviously a momentous occasion, solidifying Ionescu as the best basketball player in Oregon history, and the fact that all her accolades have taken place half way through her junior year should make Duck fans very excited for the rest of the season.

Though this will certainly be remembered as Ionescu’s night, Ruthy Hebard also played an incredible game. The fellow junior and close friend of Ionescu scored a perfect 9-of-9 from the field and led all players in scoring with her 20 points.
This game was never really in question as the Duck defense dominated the outmatched Falcons. Oregon never trailed after retaking the lead with 8:45 left in the first quarter. Then, after building a 39-22 lead at the half, the Ducks only allowed 14 points in the final 20 minutes of the game.
Another reason why Oregon had such a complete game was their domination of the boards, finishing the game with 13 offensive rebounds and 37 defensive compared to the Falcons’ 30 total rebounds,
Oregon may have shot a tad under their average (49% FG, 31.8% 3PT, 70% FT) but they were able to keep their opponent to under 23.3% shooting from the floor.
