Tyson Alger offers 10 thoughts on the state of the men’s basketball team coming off of an important home sweep against the Washington schools. Included are Troy Brown’s improvement (and draft stock) and speculating about tournament hopes.

Ken Goe gives us a run down on the state of the Oregon track program, including talking about Cheserek’s somewhat unique international status as an athlete. Cheserek has been in the US since high school and is applying for citizenship, but could put that in jeopardy if he competed for another country (like his country of citizenship).

Both the Oregon men and women’s cross country teams were recognized as All Academic teams by the USTFCCA, with three women also earning individual academic honors as well.

Oregon pitcher Kenyon Novan has been named to the watch list for the Stopper of the Year Award, given to the best relief pitcher in division 1 baseball annually. Yovan was an All American last year as a freshman.
