Ducks vs. Bruins Gamethread

NCAA Basketball: Oregon at Southern California Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon Ducks (17-9, 7-6) finish the Los Angeles road trek against the UCLA Bruins (18-8, 9-5) at Pauley Pavilion. Tipoff begins at 7:15 with a telecast on ESPN.

The Ducks hope to avoid consecutive losses after a disappointing performance on Thursday against USC. Oregon left the momentum by sweeping the Washington schools in Eugene. As a result, the Ducks could not find a breakthrough in the final minutes.

Oregon is out of the picture for the Pac-12 regular season title. UCLA hopes to keep the pressure on Arizona in the race for the crown.

For the Ducks, the NCAA Tournament is not in the cards. Oregon's best shot is to win the conference tournament, or a win at home against Arizona will bolster their resume.

For now, the focus in on defeating the Bruins. The Ducks held off the Bruins in Eugene in the first meeting between the two sides.

Can Troy Brown continue his strong play? Will Elijah Brown show up tonight? Is there going to be a sense of urgency from the Ducks tonight? Plenty of questions to ponder on a team still in search of an identity.

The game thread is now open. Please be respectful.

Go Ducks!
